CLEVELAND, May 26 (UPI) -- Carl Pavano limited Tampa Bay to one run on four hits in seven innings Tuesday in the Cleveland Indians' 5-1 win over the Rays.
Pavano (5-4) won for the fifth time in his last six starts for the Indians.
Asdrubal Cabrera, Ryan Garko, Mark DeRosa and Kelly Shoppach all homered for Cleveland.
Tampa Bay starter Matt Garza (4-3) allowed four runs on five hits in six innings, with seven strikeouts.
Carlos Pena homered for the Rays.
