MLB: San Francisco 8, Atlanta 2

SAN FRANCISCO, May 25 (UPI) -- Travis Ishikawa was 4-for-4 with a three-run homer and three runs scored Monday to carry the San Francisco Giants to an 8-2 win over Atlanta.

Edgar Renteria added two RBI and Fred Lewis scored twice for the Giants.

Winning pitcher Jonathan Sanchez (2-4) gave up two runs on four hits and three walks with six strikeouts in five-plus innings.

Brian McCann was 3-for-3 with an RBI and Casey Kotchman drove in a run for the Braves.

Loser Javier Vazquez (4-4) gave up five runs and eight hits in 5 2/3 innings.

The game was scoreless until the fifth inning when the Giants took a 3-0 lead.
