MINNEAPOLIS, May 25 (UPI) -- Justin Morneau's grand slam Sunday carried the Minnesota Twins to a 6-3 win and an inter-league series sweep of the Milwaukee Brewers.
The victory went to Twins starter Scott Baker (2-5), who gave up the three Milwaukee runs on seven hits. He struck out six and did not walk a batter over 8 1/3 innings, his longest effort this season.
Joe Mauer and Joe Crede also homered for the Twins, who have put together a season-best four straight wins. However, Crede left the game after being hit in the right hand by a pitch in the seventh inning.
Milwaukee's runs came on a two-run shot by Prince Fielder and a solo homer by Mike Cameron.
Dave Bush (3-1) gave up four runs on five hits and four walks in 6 2/3 innings to take the loss. The Brewers had won in his previous six starts.
