EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J., May 24 (UPI) -- The Chicago Fire, with goalkeeper Jon Busch making 10 saves, stayed unbeaten in 2009 Sunday, edging Red Bull New York 1-0 in Major League Soccer.
Chris Rolfe scored for the Fire as time run out in the first half.
Chicago (4
6) leads the Eastern Conference by two points over Toronto FC and D.C. United.
New York (2-6-3) is tied with Columbus for last place in the East.
