
DETROIT, May 24 (UPI) -- Todd Helton's two hits and two RBI Sunday led the Colorado Rockies to a 3-1 victory against the Detroit Tigers.
His RBI single snapped a 1-1 tie with two outs in the top of the seventh.
Earlier, he hit a fifth-inning RBI double.
Matt Murton hit a seventh RBI double and Dexter Fowler had a run and two hits for the Rockies, who won the final two contests in the three-game interleague series at Detroit's Comerica Park.
Winner Jason Hammel (3-1) gave up an earned run six hits in six innings.
Closer Huston Street recorded his seventh save with a 1-2-3 ninth.
Detroit scored on Dane Sardinha's second-inning single.
Magglio Ordonez had a run and two of the six hits for the Tigers, who have lost two in a row following their season-high seven-game winning streak.
Losing pitcher Dontrelle Willis (1-1) gave up three earned runs and seven hits in 6 2/3 innings with four walks and four strikeouts.
