Miyazato, Kang share LPGA Corning lead

CORNING, N.Y., May 23 (UPI) -- Mika Miyazato posted a 10-under 62 Saturday to share the lead with Soo-Yun Kang after three rounds of the LPGA Corning Classic.

Miyazato's 62 tied the course record set by Juli Inkster in 2003 and tied one recorded by Hee-Won Han in 2005

Soo-Yun Kang had a 65 to join Miyazato in the lead at 17-under 199, which matched the 54-hole scoring record.

Yani Tseng, reigning McDonald's LPGA Champion, also shot a 62 to move into third place at 16-under 200. Minea Blomqvist was at 201 after a 66 on Saturday.

Just two of the top-24 players on the leader board shot worse than 69 in the third round.
