TORONTO, May 23 (UPI) -- Amado Guevara scored twice Saturday to boost Toronto FC to a 3-1 Major League Soccer win over the New England Revolution.

It was the fifth contest in a seven-game home field stretch for the Reds.

New England took an early 1-0 advantage when Shalrie Joseph scored in the 13th minute.

One minute later, Guevara scored the equalizer, making it 1-1 at halftime.

A goal by Dwayne De Rosario in the 67th minute put Toronto up 2-1 before Guevara scored again in the 70th minute.

The Reds (4-3-4) had not won any of their five previous game against the Revolution before Saturday's victory, while the loss made the Revolution (2-3-4) winless in their last seven games.

The Reds outshot the Revolution 16-10 and goalkeeper Stefan Frei needed to make only three saves.

Revolution netminder Matt Reis was beaten three times.
