MLS: Kansas City 1, Chivas USA 1

KANSAS CITY, Kan., May 23 (UPI) -- Kansas City, down two men for the final 10 minutes, held on Saturday for a 1-1 draw with league-leading Chivas USA.

After Kansas City's Claudio Lopez and Chivas USA's Eduardo Lillingston scored second-half goals, the Wizards had two red cards.

Wizards goalkeeper Kevin Hartman made five saves to preserve the tie for his shorthanded club.

Lopez scored the game's first goal, his fourth of the season, in the 56th minute from about 30 yards. Lillingston scored his fourth goal of the season and third in the past three games in the 64th minute.
