HOUSTON, May 23 (UPI) -- Nelson Cruz homered twice and drove in four runs Saturday, leading the Texas Rangers to a 6-3 victory against the Houston Astros.
The first homer, a three-run shot, erased a 1-0 deficit with one out in the top of the fourth inning and the second was a solo leading off the sixth.
Hank Blalock followed Cruz in the sixth with a solo homer, one of his three hits.
One fifth-inning run scored on an error by Carlos Lee, and like Cruz, Omar Vizquel had two hits for the Rangers, who have won nine of their last 12 games.
The winner was starter Scott Feldman (3-0), while closer C.J. Wilson yielded a lead-off single in the ninth but recorded his third save.
One of two hits by Houston's Miguel Tejada was a solo homer.
Geoff Blum hit a two-run seventh-inning homer, and Hunter Pence added two hits for the Astros, who have lost five of seven.
The losing pitcher was starter Brian Moehler (1-3).
