
ATLANTA, May 23 (UPI) -- Kelly Johnson's seventh-inning solo homer Saturday secured the Atlanta Braves' 4-3 win against the Toronto Blue Jays.
The round-tripper, his fourth this season, gave Atlanta a 4-2 edge with one out in the bottom of the seventh.
Winning pitcher Derek Lowe drove in one run, and Casey Kotchman hit a two-run double.
Lowe (6-2) surrendered two earned runs and five hits in 7 1/3 innings. Rafael Soriano recorded his fourth save with a 1-2-3 ninth.
Jeff Francoeur had three hits for the Braves, who have won four of five.
Toronto got a two-run double from Marco Scutaro and Lyle Overbay knocked in a run. Adam Lind had two hits for the Blue Jays, who have lost five in a row.
Losing pitcher Casey Janssen (0-1), back from an elbow injury, surrendered three earned runs and eight hits in six innings.
