HOUSTON, May 21 (UPI) -- Corey Hart put Milwaukee in front with a seventh-inning double Thursday and the Brewers rallied from a three-run deficit to defeat Houston 4-3.
Milwaukee rebounded after having a seven-game winning streak halted on Wednesday. The Brewers have not lost a series since the middle of April.
Houston took an early lead on Hunter Pence's two-run homer in the second and a solo shot by Miguel Tejada in the fourth.
The Brewers cut their deficit to two going into the seventh, during which they scored three times.
Houston starter Roy Oswalt gave up a one-out single to Craig Counsell and walked J.J. Hardy before being replaced by Jeff Fulchino.
Fulchino promptly walked Ryan Braun to load the bases and Tim Byrdak replaced Fulchino. Prince Fielder greeted Byrdak with a two-run single and Chris Sampson, the fourth pitcher of the inning, surrendered Hart's double that brought home Braun and made Fulchino (0-1) the losing pitcher.
Seth McClung, who worked one inning in relief of starter Jeff Suppan, got the win. Trevor Hoffman escaped a two-on, none-out jam in the ninth to grab his 11th save.
