SEATTLE, May 20 (UPI) -- The Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim banged out 14 hits Tuesday en route to a 6-5 win over Seattle.

Matt Palmer (5-0) remained undefeated for the season, thanks in large part to the bullpen, which held the host Mariners scoreless in the final three innings and earned Brian Fuentes save No. 10.

Bobby Abreu went 3-for-4 and drove in two runs to lead the Angels, who won their second consecutive game.

Ronny Cedeno had a two-run homer for the Mariners. Ken Griffey Jr., added a solo homer. Felix Hernandez (4-3) took the loss after surrendering 11 hits over six innings.

Los Angeles went ahead for good with a pair of runs in the fifth inning. Trailing 4-3, Maicer Izturis came home on a wild pitch by Hernandez and Abreu came home on a fielding error by Jose Lopez.
