MIAMI, May 20 (UPI) -- Dan Uggla drove in four runs Wednesday, three on a fifth-inning homer, to help Florida beat Arizona 8-6 in the first game of a twi-night doubleheader.

Uggla's blast gave Florida a 7-3 lead with one out in the bottom of the fifth. In the third, he drew a bases-loaded walk.

Three other Florida players had one RBI and a fifth-inning run scored on a wild pitch by reliever Jon Rauch. Both Jorge Cantu and Cody Ross had two hits for the Marlins, who have won three in a row for the first time this season.

The winner was starter Chris Volstad (3-3).

Closer Matt Lindstrom earned his eighth save with a 1-2-3 ninth.

Arizona scored on Chris Snyder's fifth-inning two-run homer, Chad Tracy's seventh-inning solo shot, an RBI groundout by Stephen Drew and an RBI single by Gerardo Parra.
