CARSON, Calif., May 17 (UPI) -- Eddie Lewis scored in the 89th minute Sunday, pulling the Los Angeles Galaxy into a 1-1 Major League Soccer tie with the Columbus Crew.

Lewis got to a loose ball and fired a shot into the goal from 20 yards out.

Guillermo Barros Schelotto scored at the 70th minute for Columbus after stealing a pass.

Los Angeles is 1-1-7, Columbus 1-2-6.
