ST. PETERSBURG, Fla., May 17 (UPI) -- Despite a lineup error, winner Andy Sonnanstine knocked in a run and hurled 5 2/3 innings Sunday in Tampa Bay's 7-5 win over Cleveland.
Sonnanstine (2-4) was a batter because a mix-up on Tampa Bay's lineup card had both Ben Zobrist and Evan Longoria playing third.
Longoria was supposed to be the DH, but because of the mistake, the Rays were forced to play without a designated hitter and Sonnanstine had to bat third.
He hit a fourth-inning RBI double.
Michael Hernandez hit a three-run fourth-inning double and Jason Bartlett had three hits and one RBI for the Rays, who won the final three contests in the four-game series.
Cleveland's Ben Francisco had two hits -- one a three-run second inning homer.
Victor Martinez drove in one.
Jamey Carroll had a run and three hits, while David Dellucci had a run and two hits for the Indians, who have lost three of four.
David Huff (0-1) lost his major league debut.
