CHICAGO, May 17 (UPI) -- Houston's Ivan Rodriguez slugged the 300th home run of his major league career Sunday in a 6-5 Astros victory over the Chicago Cubs.
Rodriguez's homer was a two-run shot during a four-run fourth inning.
Lance Berkman had a double, RBI and scored a run, and Manuel Tejada added a run-scoring double for the Astros, who have won six of their last eight contests.
Winning pitcher Brian Moehler (1-2) worked five innings, allowing three runs and five hits.
Derrek Lee and Alfonso Soriano hit solo homers for the Cubs.
Rick Harden (4-2) took the loss for Chicago, which had won its five previous games. Harden gave up four runs and six hits in six innings.
