HOOVER, Ala., May 17 (UPI) -- Keith Fergus won the rain-shortened Regions Charity Classic in Alabama Sunday at 12-under-par 132 for two rounds, his second Champions Tour win this year.

Fergus shot two straight 66s, finishing three shots ahead of Gene Jones, who closed with a 66 for a 135 total. Joe Ozaki (67) was third at 136.

Weather delays forced tournament officials to cut the event to 36 holes.

Fergus also won the Cap Cana Championship this season. He now has three victories on the tour.

Brad Bryant (65), Jay Don Blake (67), Tom Jenkins (69), Loren Roberts (69), Tom McKnight (70), Larry Mize (70) and Jim Thorpe (70) shared fourth place at 7-under 137.
