MLS: Houston 1, New York 1 (tie)

EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J., May 16 (UPI) -- John Wolyniec's goal in the 88th minute Saturday helped the New York Red Bulls play to a 1-1 tie with the Houston Dynamo.

The tie gave both clubs one point in their respective conferences, with the Red Bulls (2-5-3) improving to nine points in the East and the Dynamo (3-2-3) rising to 12 in the West.

Both clubs play next weekend, with Houston home to San Jose next Saturday and New York home to the Chicago Fire next Sunday.
