NEW YORK, May 13 (UPI) -- Cleveland's LeBron James was a unanimous choice for the All-NBA First Team, which included Los Angeles's Kobe Bryant for the seventh time in eight seasons.
Along with James and Bryant, Orlando's Dwight Howard, Dallas's Dirk Nowitzki and Miami's Dwyane Wade were voted to the first team.
James, who was also selected as the NBA's most valuable player this season, was the only unanimous choice. Bryant was listed as a first-teamer on 119 ballots and Howard on 116 by the 122 sportswriters and broadcasters who voted.
James was second in the NBA in scoring average (28.4 points per game) and helped the Cavaliers to an NBA-best 66-16 record this season.
Bryant was third in the league in scoring (26.8 points per game) as the Lakers posted the best record in the Western Conference. Howard made the first team for a second consecutive year after leading the NBA in rebounding and blocks.
Wade was voted his first first-term designation after leading the NBA in scoring (30.2 points per game). This season marked the fourth time Nowitzki, the NBA's fourth-leading scorer (25.9) was voted to the first team.
The players on the All-NBA second team were San Antonio's Tim Duncan, Boston's Paul Pierce, Houston's Yao Ming, Portland's Brandon Roy and New Orleans' Chris Paul. The third team was made up of Denver's Carmelo Anthony, Los Angeles Lakers Pau Gasol, Phoenix's Shaquille O'Neal, Denver's Chauncey Bullups and San Antonio's Tony Parker.
