
BALTIMORE, May 12 (UPI) -- Adam Jones had two homers and four RBI Tuesday to power the Baltimore Orioles to a 7-5 victory over the Tampa Bay Rays.
Lou Montanez and Melvin Mora each had two hits and an RBI for Baltimore, which has won four of its last six games.
Baltimore's starter Mark Hendrickson lasted only two innings. He allowed five runs on six hits and a walk without a strikeout.
Brian Bass (2-1) earned the win after pitching four shutout innings with three hits.
George Sherrill pitched around one walk in the ninth to get his sixth save.
Carl Crawford had two doubles and two RBI for the Rays. Evan Longoria went 2-for-4 with a double and an RBI.
Andy Sonnanstine (1-4) suffered the loss after giving up seven runs on nine hits in two plus innings.
The Rays bullpen allowed two hits and one walk in six innings.
