ORLANDO, Fla., May 10 (UPI) -- Glen Davis hit a jumper at the buzzer Sunday to lift the Boston Celtics to a 95-94 win over Orlando and even their Eastern Conference semifinals series.
The two teams will meet Tuesday for Game 5 in Boston.
Davis, who scored 21 points and had six rebounds, kept the Celtics from falling into a deep hole when he drained the game-winner from inside the 3-point line on the left wing.
"I work on that shot every day," Davis said after the game. "It's just hard work."
Paul Pierce led the Celtics with 27 points, including 18 at the half. Rajon Rondo scored 21 and also grabbed 14 rebounds.
Dwight Howard led the Magic with a game-high 17 rebounds and 23 points. Rashard Lewis added 22 points.
Boston outscored Orlando in the first three quarters, but Orlando got hot in the fourth, outscoring the visitors 23-16. The rally peaked when Lewis hit two free throws with 11.3 seconds to play and gave the Magic the lead that was erased by Davis' stunning game winner.
