MLB: Cleveland 9, Chicago White Sox 4

CLEVELAND, May 11 (UPI) -- Jhonny Peralta and Shin-Soo Choo each had three RBI Monday to lead the Cleveland Indians to a 9-4 victory over the Chicago White Sox.

Cleveland, which had scored just six total runs in a four-game losing streak, had 13 hits Monday, including 6-of-13 with runners in scoring position. Peralta was 3-for-5 and Choo, Asdrubal Cabrera and Mark DeRosa each had two hits.

Winning pitcher Carl Pavano (3-3) got his third straight victory after allowing four runs on 10 hits in 6 1/3 innings.

Loser Gavin Floyd (2-3) gave up eight runs on 11 hits in five-plus innings for Chicago, which has lost seven of its last nine games.

Paul Konerko had three hits and scored two runs and Alexei Ramirez had two RBI for the White Sox.
