CARSON, Calif., May 10 (UPI) -- Alan Gordan scored in the 35th minute Sunday to help the Los Angeles Galaxy tie the Seattle Sounders FC 1-1 and remain unbeaten in six matches.
Alan Gordan's second goal of the season provided the equalizer after Seattle had taken a 1-0 lead in the 22nd minute on Sebastien Le Toux's first career MLS goal.
Le Toux scored an easy tap-in on a crossing pass from Nate Jaqua, who narrowly beat Galaxy goalkeeper Donovan Ricketts to a loose ball in the Los Angeles penalty area.
Gordan tied the match on a header off a pass from Mike Magee.
There were seven yellow cards issued in the second half as well as a red card that sent James Riley off in the 57th minute.
Seattle, with 14 points, trails first-place Chivas USA by eight points in the Western Conference. The Galaxy is in sixth place in the West with nine points.
