DALLAS, May 9 (UPI) -- Carmelo Anthony's 3-pointer with one second left Saturday boosted Denver to a 106-105 win over Dallas and a 3-0 lead in their Western Conference semifinal.

Anthony, who sank just 9-of-24 shots, had recorded a dunk to cut Denver's deficit to 105-103 with 28.5 seconds left.

Chauncey Billups led the Nuggets with 32 points, three assists and three rebounds. Despite his game-long shooting woes, Anthony scored 31 points with eight rebounds.

Kenyon Martin scored 12 with four rebounds, and J.R. Smith added 10 points and six rebounds for the Nuggets, who can wrap the seven-game series with a victory in Dallas Monday night.

Dirk Nowitzki led Dallas with 33 points and 16 rebounds. Jason Terry scored 17 with four rebounds, Brandon Bass scored 16 with four rebounds, while Josh Howard had 14 points and seven rebounds and Jason Kidd added 13 points, five rebounds and five assists for the Mavericks.

No NBA team has ever won a series after going down 3-0.
