OAKLAND, Calif., May 9 (UPI) -- Lyle Overbay had a home run, three RBI and two runs scored Saturday to lead the Toronto Blue Jays to a 6-4 win over the Oakland Athletics.
Adam Lind had two RBI for the Blue Jays, who won for the sixth time in nine games. Marco Scutaro had three hits for Toronto.
Brian Tallet (2-1) got the win after giving up a run on two hits and striking out seven in seven innings.
Jason Giambi had two home runs and three RBI for the A's, who have lost five of their last seven games.
Sean Gallagher (1-1), making his first start of the season, took the loss after allowing four runs on 10 hits in five innings.
