MLB: Chicago White Sox 3, Texas 2

CHICAGO, May 9 (UPI) -- Paul Konerko drove in the winning run in the eighth inning Saturday to give the Chicago White Sox a 3-2 win over the Texas Rangers.

Carlos Quentin had two doubles and an RBI for the White Sox. Jermaine Dye added two hits and an RBI.

Scott Linebrink (1-1) earned the win with a scoreless eighth in relief. Bobby Jenks pitched a perfect ninth for his seventh save.

Elvis Andrus and Ian Kinsler each drove in a run for the Rangers.

Kevin Millwood (3-3) gave up three runs on seven hits in seven-plus innings.
