CHICAGO, May 8 (UPI) -- Matt Harrison threw the second complete game shutout of his career Friday, boosting the Texas Rangers to a 6-0 decision over the Chicago White Sox.

Harrison (3-2) extended his scoreless streak to 19 innings. He allowed four hits with a walk and struck out five in 111 pitches. He also blanked the White Sox over five innings in a 5-1 victory last Sunday.

Veteran Omar Vizquel went 2-for-5 with two RBI while raising his 2009 batting average to .423. David Murphy had two hits and scored three times and leadoff man Ian Kinsler had two RBI to boost his season total to 27 in 29 games.

The division-leading Rangers bounced back from a loss in Oakland Thursday to win for the sixth time in seven games.

Jose Contreras (0-5) lasted only 3 2/3 innings to take the loss. He gave up five runs on six hits with two walks and three strikeouts.

The White Sox, losers of five out of six, had just two at-bats all night with runners in scoring position.
