MLS: Kansas City 1, D.C. United 1 (tie)

KANSAS CITY, Kan., May 6 (UPI) -- Josh Wolff scored early in the second half Wednesday, allowing Kansas City to salvage a 1-1 tie with D.C. United.

United (3-1-4) picked up a valuable road point, getting a first-half goal from Rodney Wallace for his second score of the season.

Wolff brought the Wizards (3-3-2) even when he knocked home a cross from Jack Jewsbury.

United moved one point in front of Toronto for the lead in the Eastern Conference. Kansas City is two points back in the East, tied with Chicago for third.
