NEW YORK, May 6 (UPI) -- A federal lawsuit filed against former New York Mets player Roberto Alomar by a former girlfriend has been resolved, court records show.

The New York Post, citing a letter filed in Brooklyn federal court, said Wednesday the lawsuit filed by Ilya Dall in February against Alomar was settled under a confidentiality agreement.

Dall, who lived with Alomar for three years during their relationship, had accused the former MLB slugger of hiding his alleged HIV-positive diagnosis from her while they were having unprotected sex.

Dall alleged Alomar tested positive for the human immunodeficiency virus, which can lead to AIDS, in February 2006. Alomar, 41, told the Post in a recent interview he does not have AIDS.

Specific details, including any possible financial compensation, regarding the lawsuit settlement were not disclosed.

"The letter speaks for itself," Alomar's lawyer, Charles Bach, told the Post.
