
WASHINGTON, May 4 (UPI) -- Ryan Zimmerman was 4-for-4 Monday to extend his hitting streak to 22 games and lead the Washington Nationals to a 9-4 win over Houston.
Zimmerman, who also had a bases loaded walk in a five-run sixth inning, had two RBI and scored three runs.
Elijah Dukes had three hits and drove in three runs for the Nationals, who have back-to-back wins for just the second time all season.
John Lannan (1-3) got the win despite allowing nine hits and four runs over six innings.
Brian Moehler, activated from the 15-day disabled list before the game after being out with a sprained knee, was charged with eight hits and two runs over five innings for the Astros.
Carlos Lee had three hits and Kaz Matsui knocked in two runs for Houston.
Reliever Wesley Wright (1-1) took the loss.
