ATLANTA, May 4 (UPI) -- Carlos Beltran hit two home runs Monday to power the New York Mets to a 6-4 victory over the Atlanta Braves.
David Wright hit a two-run homer for New York, which won for just the second time in its last five games.

Mets starter John Maine (2-2) gave up three runs on three hits with six walks and seven strikeouts over six innings.
Chipper Jones hit a solo home run, one of five hits for the Braves, who have lost their last three games.
Javier Vazquez (2-3) was charged with the loss after he allowed six runs on seven hits with three walks and eight strikeouts in 6 2/3 innings.
