MLB: LA Dodgers 2, San Diego 1 (10 inn.)

LOS ANGELES, May 3 (UPI) -- Andre Ethier's 10th-inning bases-loaded single Saturday gave the Los Angeles Dodgers a 2-1 win over San Diego -- and shot at a franchise-record home win streak.

The Dodgers are 9-0 at home this season, tied for the best home start in franchise history, set by the Brooklyn Dodgers in 1946.

Russell Martin had three hits and Rafael Furcal had two hits and scored the winning run for LA, which has topped the Padres in the first three games of the series in Chavez Ravine.

Randy Wolf started for the Dodgers, allowing one run on two hits in 5 1/3 innings.

Guillermo Mota (2-0) got the win after a shaky 10th in which he served up a two-out double to Luis Rodriguez and intentionally walked Brian Giles before getting David Eckstein to hit a ground ball to third for a force out to erase the Padres threat.

San Diego starter Chris Young went seven innings, giving up one run on six hits.

Luke Gregerson (0-2) took the loss after allowing a leadoff single to Furcal in the 10th, followed by a single from Orlando Hudson and an intentional walk to Manny Ramirez that set up Ethier's game-winning drive to right over a drawn-in outfield.
