
ATLANTA, May 3 (UPI) -- Michael Bourn's seventh-inning single Sunday knocked in the eventual winning run and the Houston Astros recorded a 7-5 win over Atlanta.
Bourn led Houston with two runs, three hits and the RBI, which snapped a 4-4 tie with one out in the top of the seventh.
Carlos Lee hit an RBI single and a sacrifice fly. Miguel Tejada had a two hits and one RBI for the Astros, who have won five of their last seven games.
The winner was reliever Geoff Geary (1-3), while closer LaTroy Hawkins retired the side in the ninth to earn his third save.
Jeff Francoeur, Matt Diaz, David Ross and Greg Norton each drove in a run for the Braves, who also scored a run on a fifth-inning balk by Houston starter Wandy Rodriguez. Atlanta lost twice in the three-game weekend series.
The losing pitcher was reliever Peter Moylan (1-2).
