ATLANTA, May 2 (UPI) -- A three-run fourth-inning Saturday, keyed an error by Chipper Jones, helped the Houston Astros record a 5-1 victory against the Atlanta Braves.

Three runs scored after Jones booted a ground ball by Miguel Tejada with no outs in the top of the fourth.

Pudge Rodriguez and Kaz Matsui led Houston with two hits and one RBI each. Hunter Pence had three of Houston's 12 hits.

The lone hit for Lance Berkman was a two-out solo homer in the top of the first, while both Matsui and Carlos Lee had two hits for the Astros, who have won four of their last six games.

The winner was reliever Tim Byrdak (1-0).

Starter Roy Oswalt pitched only one inning, coming out after a 96-minute rain delay in the second inning.

Atlanta scored on a second-inning wild pitch by reliever Felipe Paulino.

The losing pitcher was reliever Buddy Carlyle (0-1).

The Braves have lost four of six.
