Chad Qualls earned his sixth save, despite giving up a hit in the bottom of the ninth.
Chris Snyder led Arizona with two hits and two RBI. One of two hits for Justin Upton was a seventh-inning solo homer, while Conor Jackson had two hits and one RBI for the Diamondbacks, who have won two of three.
Milwaukee's Braden Looper (2-1) surrendered four earned runs and six hits in seven innings to take the loss.
Prince Fielder's sixth-inning single produced the lone run for Milwaukee, which has lost two straight following a four-game winning streak.
