MLB: Florida 8, Chicago Cubs 2 (10 inn.)

Aaron Heilman (2-1) came out to start the 10th for the Cubs and did not retire a batter. He gave up a leadoff double to Alfredo Amezaga and walked pinch-hitter Wes Helms.

Chicago shortstop Ryan Theriot then misplayed a ground ball by Emilio Bonifacio for an error that allowed Amezaga to score. Although that opened the door for the big inning, only one run was unearned.

Helms came in on a squeeze bunt single by Cameron Maybin and Jeremy Hermida walked to load the bases. That brought up Cantu, who drove a 3-2 pitch to deep left that cleared the bases and drove Heilman from the mound.

A double by Dan Uggla brought in Cantu with the sixth run of the inning.

Renyel Pinto (2-0) recorded the final out in the bottom of the ninth to get the win.
