FES, Morocco, April 27 (UPI) -- Fourth-seeded Russian Maria Kirilenko was one of two first-round losers Monday at the Moroccan Grand Prix.
Marta Domachowska of Poland beat Kirilenko in 6-4, 6-4.
Sixth-seeded Russian Ekaterina Makarova defeated Romanian Ioana Raluca Olaru 7-6 (7-5), 6-4.
This year's top seed is Spain's Anabel Medina Garrigues, who was last year's Fes runner-up to Argentine Gisela Dulko, who is not defending her title this week.
