CHICAGO, April 26 (UPI) -- Two late free throws and a blocked shot by Chicago's John Salmons Sunday finished off a 121-118 Bulls double-overtime playoff victory over Boston.
The Eastern Conference quarterfinal series is tied 2-2.
Salmons hit the free throws with 16.9 seconds remaining and then partially blocked an attempt to tie the game by Boston's Paul Pierce.
Derrick Rose scored 23 points, Ben Gordon had 22 and Salmons totaled 20 for the Bulls, who had seven players in double figures.
Pierce tallied 29 points, Ray Allen 28 and Rajon Rondo 25 for the Celtics.
The fifth game of the series is scheduled Tuesday in Boston.
