TORONTO, April 26 (UPI) -- Danny Dichio scored for Toronto FC, which took over first place in Major League Soccer's Eastern Conference Sunday with a 1-0 win over the Kansas City Wizards.

Dichio fired a shot into the lower left corner of the net early in the second half.

Rookie goalkeeper Stefan Frei made five saves for Toronto (3-2-2).

Kansas City (3-3-1) lost for the first time in its last five matches.
