Vikings' Asher Allen retires at age 24
ANAHEIM, Calif., April 26 (UPI) -- Howie Kendrick drove in half of the Los Angeles Angels' runs Sunday in an 8-0 win over the Seattle Mariners.
Kendrick contributed three hits, including a two-run home run. Juan Rivera hit a solo homer for the Angels.
Jered Weaver (2-1) allowed just three hits over seven innings.
Jose Lopez had three of Seattle's five hits.
Loser Jarrod Washburn (3-1) allowed six runs and eight hits in 5 1/3 innings.
