
MIAMI, April 25 (UPI) -- Dwyane Wade scored 29 points with seven rebounds and eight assists Saturday, keying the Miami Heat's 107-78 rout of the Atlanta Hawks.
The Heat will carry a 2-1 advantage into Game 4 of the Eastern Conference quarterfinal at home Monday.
Miami led 22-12 after the first period, and while Atlanta missed 17 of its first 19 shots, the lead swelled 50-29 at the half. The Heat ended the first half on a 25-6 scoring spurt and the Hawks faced a double digit deficit the entire second half.
Jermaine O'Neal scored 22 points with 10 rebounds. Mario Chalmers scored 15 with five rebounds and four steals, Udonis Haslem had 12 points and 13 rebounds -- and the Heat set a franchise playoff record with 12 blocked shots.
Josh Smith, Al Horford and Mike Bibby led Atlanta with 13 points apiece. Joe Johnson scored 10 with six rebounds and three assists for the Hawks, who played without star forward Marvin Williams (wrist injury).
