MLS: Chicago 2, Columbus 2 (tie)

COLUMBUS, Ohio, April 25 (UPI) -- Gonzalo Segares scored in the 89th minute Saturday, giving the Chicago Fire a 2-2 Major League Soccer tie with the Columbus Crew.

The tie earned both clubs one point in the MLS standings.

Columbus led 2-0 on first-half goals by Chad Marshall in the 25th minute and Alejandro Moreno in the 34th. Chicago closed to 2-1 when Brian McBride in the 86th and got the equalizer on the first goal in the 2009 season for Segares.

4) continued the longest unbeaten start in franchise history Saturday with their fourth tie and remained one of just two undefeated teams in the league, along with New England.

The reigning MLS Cup champion Crew (0-2-4) are off to the worst start in league history by a defending champion.
