MIAMI, April 24 (UPI) -- A grand slam homer by Shane Victorino highlighted a seven-run ninth inning Friday, rallying the Philadelphia Phillies to a 7-3 win over Florida.
The Marlins, who won 11 of their first 12 games this season, appeared ready to halt a three-game skid when they took a 3-0 lead into the ninth. The Phillies, however, sent 12 men to the plate and scored seven times on five hits.
Jayson Werth started things with a one-out double off Matt Lindstrom (1-1) and Raul Ibanez drew a walk. A single by pinch-hitter Matt Stairs drove in Werth with the first run of the inning.
Lou Marson then walked to load the bases and, after Eric Bruntlett fanned for the second out, Jimmy Rollins drew a walk to force in a run. That brought up Victorino, who hit a 2-1 pitch out to right for his second homer of the year. Chase Utley followed with his fifth blast of the season to make it 7-3.
Philadelphia put two more runners on base against reliever Renyel Pinto before Ibanez struck out to end the inning.
The outburst made a winner out of Clay Condrey (3-0), who worked the seventh and eighth innings without giving up a hit.
Florida wasted seven shutout innings from starter Josh Johnson. All three of Florida's runs came on a first-inning homer by Dan Uggla.
The Phillies had lost their previous two games.
