Report: Eagles might deal Shawn Andrews

PHILADELPHIA, April 23 (UPI) -- The Eagles might trade right guard Shawn Andrews, sources have told the Philadelphia Daily News.

The 26-year-old Pro Bowl guard might be unhappy with his contract because the Eagles have given more to his brother, Stacy, and newly acquired left tackle Jason Peters, late of the Buffalo Bills, the newspaper said Thrusday.

Citing a league source, the Daily News said the Eagles have had at least one conversation with another team about potentially trading Shawn Andrews. The newspaper said messages left for Andrews, agent Rich Moran and the Eagles were not returned.

Stacy Andrews also is a guard on Philadelphia's offensive line.

Shawn Andrews signed a 10-year contract extension in 2006 for about $35.5 million.

Peters, 27, a two-time Pro Bowl choice, was traded to the Eagles last week and will receive $60 million in six years -- $25 million guaranteed.
