NHL: Pittsburgh 3, Philadelphia 1

PHILADELPHIA, April 21 (UPI) -- Marc-Andre Fleury had 45 saves Tuesday, backstopping Pittsburgh's 3-1 win over Philadelphia for a 3-1 lead in the Eastern quarterfinals.

Sidney Crosby, Tyler Kennedy and Maxime Talbot each scored for the Penguins, who could win the series Thursday when they host the Flyers Thursday.

Daniel Carcillo had the lone goal for Philadelphia. Martin Biron was charged with two goals on 25 shots in the loss for the Flyers, who were 0-for-8 on the power play in the contest.
