WASHINGTON, April 21 (UPI) -- Shairon Martis accounts for two of Washington's three wins after working six innings Tuesday in the Nationals' 4-3 victory over Atlanta.
The 22-year-old Martis (2-0) gave up three runs on six hits and four walks. Joel Hanrahan got his second save in two nights.
Austin Kearns tripled in the tying run and Josh Willingham drove in Washington's winning run during a three-run sixth inning. Adam Dunn hit a solo homer for the Nationals.
Atlanta's Kenshin Kawakami (1-2) gave up four runs on seven hits in five-plus innings. Casey Kotchman had two hits and an RBI for the Braves, who have lost seven of their last eight.
The game was delayed 61 minutes by rain.
