NHL: Chicago 3, Calgary 2

CHICAGO, April 19 (UPI) -- Jonathan Toews scored twice Saturday and the Chicago Blackhawks beat Calgary 3-2 to take a 2-0 lead in their Western Conference quarterfinal series.

The goals were Toews' first NHL playoff scores. Patrick Sharp had the other goal and an assist and Nikolai Khabibulin stopped 30 shots for the Blackhawks.

Jarome Iginla had a goal and an assist and Adrian Aucoin scored for the Flames, who got 30 saves from Miikka Kiprusoff.

Game 3 is set for Monday in Calgary.
