MLS: Chivas USA 2, Seattle 0

CARSON, Calif., April 19 (UPI) -- Rookie Chukwudi Chijindu scored his first MLS goal Saturday and Chivas USA beat Seattle 2-0 to and remain undefeated in 2009.

1) also scored on an own goal by the expansion Sounders FC and expanded their Western Conference lead over second-place Seattle (3-2-0) to four points.

Defender James Riley deflected the ball into his own goal to give Chivas USA a 1-0 lead in the 32nd minute. Chijindu scored with assists by Bojan Stepanovic and Gerson Mayen in the 84th minute to extend the lead to 2-0.
