BARCELONA, Spain, April 18 (UPI) -- Maria Kirilenko and Roberta Vinci won their semifinal matches Saturday to set up a showdown in Sunday's Barcelona Open title match.

Kirilenko, the sixth seed, topped No. 5 seed -- and local favorite -- Carla Suarez Navarro 4-6, 6-1, 6-2 in a match that had been delayed from Friday because of rain.

The unseeded Vinci rallied for a 0-6, 7-6 (7-2), 6-4 triumph over fellow Italian and doubles partner Francesca Schiavone, also unseeded.

Kirilenko is going for her sixth career singles title in her eighth final, while Vinci will be playing in just the second career title match.

The winner collects a $37,000 paycheck.
