LOS ANGELES, April 16 (UPI) -- Kevin Durant staked Oklahoma City to a fast start Wednesday and the Thunder ended the season with a 126-85 win over the Los Angeles Clippers.
Oklahoma City defeated the Clippers for the first time in four tries and won for just the second time in eight contests overall.
The Thunder, having moved from Seattle after the 2007-08 season, concluded the campaign with a 23-59 record.
Durant scored 26 points and pushed Oklahoma City to a 60-39 halftime lead. Jeff Green added 19 points and the Thunder shot 53 percent from the field.
Los Angeles closed the season on a three-game losing streak and wound up with four fewer victories than Oklahoma City. Eric Gordon led the Clippers with 22.
